Utah Cultural Advocacy Alliance (UCAA) is the 501(c)4 arm of Utah Cultural Alliance. UCAA is the advocacy voice of the arts & humanities sector. Cultural businesses include nonprofit institutions such as museums and performing arts entities as well as for-profit businesses such as galleries, architecture, and more. Over 10,000 households receive our newsletter.

As a 501c4, the Utah Cultural Advocacy Alliance asks candidates to fill out this survey to assess your support of the arts & humanities. We will publish the results of the surveys and endorse candidates who demonstrate strong support for our sector.

Utah voters support the arts & humanities.

  1. Culture means business. Cultural businesses employ 79,000 Utahns and generate $3.5 billion in earnings back to the state. Further, Washington and Utah have the country’s fastest-growing arts economies. Between 2012 and 2015, they both averaged above seven percent in their annual growth rates.
  2. Utah voters care about the arts & humanities. UT is the #1 state in the country for live arts participation, #1 for attending art exhibits, #1 for watching movies in theaters, #6 for reading, and #7 for visit buildings, neighborhoods, parks for their Historic and/or Design Value
